James Hawes and Goodchild brought a touch of Christmas magic to the community when the branch hosted its own Santa’s Grotto.
The event welcomed many local children, creating a joyful atmosphere and offering a wonderful opportunity to strengthen community ties.
The team extended sincere thanks to Tesco and nearby shops for their generous donations, which helped make the occasion truly special.
The festive spirit continued as the team visited a local youth centre, where Santa and his elf delivered presents to the children. The visit was filled with dancing, Christmas treats, and plenty of seasonal joy, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Reflecting on the day, Denise, Funeral Arranger at James Hawes and Goodchild, shared her thoughts: “It was a truly enjoyable day — full of dancing, Christmas treats, and plenty of festive joy. The
positive energy throughout the day was fantastic and a real boost for community relations in
Hackney.”
